CSA INFORMATION

We Deliver to your home or office in Reno/Sparks, Carson City, Minden/Gardnerville, Dayton, Fallon and Fernley
 
You can receive fresh produce direct from our farm delivered to your door.
Working directly with you, without the intermediary of stores or wholesalers, gives us the opportunity to provide the freshest quality and competitive prices. This system is known as Subscription Farming, Community Supported Agriculture, or most simply CSA.
 How does it work?
 With a preseason payment, you purchase a "share" of our season's harvest. You then receive a weekly basket of our harvested produce for 20 weeks from mid-May to Oct. 1.
 Shareholders do not receive every crop that is in season every week. We try to offer the more popular crops (tomatoes, peppers, melons, etc.) most weeks they are in season, and give you a chance to sample more unusual crops a few times each season. 
 How many for dinner ?
 We do our best to fill your weekly basket (full Share) to the brim. The first few boxes of the season offer mainly leafy greens and herbs. From late summer through fall, the boxes may bulge with over 20 lbs. of produce. Contents and volume of baskets will vary from week to week. One share generally satisfies the needs of three to four people.

 When you sign-up, you dedicate yourself to being our customer for the year, thus providing us a secure market- a welcome measure of certainty in the fickle world of farming! We in turn, dedicate ourselves to being your farmers, providing you with a varied nutritious  diet.

 The season starts with all kinds of greens. Spinach, beet greens, kale, lettuce, baby chard, arugula and salad mix. Spices like basil, oregano, dill, cilantro. Later will bring peas, carrots, radishes and more. As the spring moves into summer you can expect more greens, green onions and garlic along with beets, carrots, radishes, new potatoes. Then comes cucumbers, eggplant,green beans, melons, tomatoes, corn, summer squash and peppers. The season ends with more greens, winter squash and pumpkins.

This package includes everything in the Full Share CSA package plus 2 whole chickens per month, and 1 dozen farm fresh eggs and $25 credit to use at our Farmers Market stand or to purchase products from our web site.
